Katrina is a highly accomplished registered nurse with over 17 years of dedicated experience in the Australian aged care industry. Throughout her extensive career improving the quality of care for older people, she has held leadership and Clinical Nurse Consultant positions in both community-based and residential aged care services.


She has also been sought for a range of consultancy roles, including serving as an aged care expert witness, a subject matter expert for learning platforms, and a dementia consultant.


Katrina’s academic credentials are commendable. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Aged Care Nursing and a Master’s degree in Person Centred Dementia Care from the University of Wollongong. She is currently partway through a Master of Nurse Practitioner (Dementia and Gerontology) with Flinders University. These qualifications reflect her deep understanding of the complexities within the aged care sector and highlight her dedication to continually advancing her knowledge and skills in this vital field.

Katrina's combination of clinical expertise, leadership experience, and advocacy for dementia care positions her as a respected figure in the aged care community.
