Jillian Kidd is a seasoned aged care professional with over two decades of experience in dementia, dementia and palliative care, clinical governance, and quality improvement. Her career spans diverse roles across government, for-profit, not-for-profit, and charitable aged care organisations, as well as SaaS and community peak bodies. As National Manager, Behaviour and Wellbeing Support at Regis Aged Care, she leads strategic initiatives to enhance behaviour support across 71 care homes. Her work is grounded in person-centred care, evidence-based practice, and a commitment to improving outcomes for people living with dementia.
Jillian has presented at national and international forums, including the International Dementia Conference and Parliamentary Friends of Dementia, has spearheaded innovative programs such as the Nightingale Dementia-Palliative Model of Care and continues to advocate for improved care models and dementia-friendly communities. With a Master of Science in Dementia Care and Graduate Diplomas in Adult Education and Quality Improvement, Jillian brings a strong academic foundation paired with deep practical experience in aged care .Her passion for mentoring, stakeholder engagement, and translational practice continues to shape innovative approaches in aged care.
